The Accounting Society Executive Board
Serving as a member of the Accounting Society is a great experience for all members. Serving in leadership as a member of the Executive Board is an experience in its own right. The Executive Board is comprised of 9 seats, each fulfilling a unique and important role for the society. Below are the Executive Board positions, their main focus, and their responsibilities.
To be considered for a seat on the Executive Board, the following criteria must be met (Accounting Society Bylaws Article IV, Sec. 4):
- Must be a regularly enrolled students in good standing at CSU San Marcos
- Must have been a voting member of the organization for a minimum of one (1) semester.
- Must achieve active membership status during the semester immediately preceding assumption of office.
- Must earn a passing grade of 'C' or better in ACCT301 (Intermediate Accounting I) preceding assumption of office.
